Alpha Furniture Relocates to 60,000 SF in Arlington; Henry S. Miller Brokerage GSW Team Negotiates the Transaction

DALLAS, TX - August 7, 2009 --  Henry S. Miller Brokerage’s Jim Hazard, Vice President/Tarrant County Office Leader and associate Brett Heinen recently brokered the lease of 60,000 square feet for the expansion and relocation of client and tenant Alpha Furniture, LLC. Hazard and Heinen were selected to seek out new space for Alpha that would allow the furniture distributor room to grow; their search resulted in the 60,000 square foot industrial building at 3715 East Avenue E in Arlington, Texas. Alpha Furniture will soon be relocating from 40,000 square feet at their current facility on Avenue R to 60,000 square feet on Avenue E increasing their square footage by 20,000 square feet. Alpha Furniture has approximately five retail outlets and an online retail business that all service from their Arlington facility. “Alpha Furniture’s relocation was a strategic move that increased their overall space while marginally increasing their rental rate,” stated Hazard, about Alpha’s goal in taking advantage of the current market conditions to meet their needs for growth.  The transaction was arranged by the following parties: Jim Hazard and Brett Heinen of Henry S. Miller Brokerage, LLC for tenant Alpha Furniture, LLC, and Don Conlon, for the landlord Gillis Thomas.
