Brokerage Negotiates 7,091 SF at Kirkwood Shopping Center
HOUSTON, TX - June 29, 2009 -- Greater
Houston retail specialist, Shawn Ackerman, Executive Vice President

two new leases and a renewal, a total of 7,091 square feet, for the
newly renovated Kirkwood Shopping Center. Located near the
intersection of Kirkwood and Westheimer, Kirkwood Shopping Center
features an array of national retail tenants making it a prime
location for local retailers to thrive. Planet Zero, a brand new
anime center – specializing in a sort of video arcade setting for
teens, signed a new lease for 3,000 square feet at 11920 Westheimer;
next-door to Sports Authority. The Japan Karate School, just steps
from the Planet Zero location, completed a lease for 1,200 square
feet. Nixi Beauty Supply, located at 11962 Westheimer, renewed their
lease for 2,891 square feet. Built in 1979, Kirkwood Shopping Center
has recently undergone a full exterior renovation, enhancing the
façade of the 86,107 square foot neighborhood center.
