The site currently has several functional facilities totaling 45,000 square feet; the society plans to use the existing 43,463 square foot building temporarily as an office and storage facility. The Dallas Zoological Society’s main objective in purchasing the site, located across the street from the Dallas Zoo, was for possible future development. Henry S.
