Purchase of 149 Acres for Future Industrial Park Development
HOUSTON, TX - May 27, 2008 -- Henry S. Miller Commercial recently
negotiated the purchase of 149 acres for long time client;
industrial real estate developer, Clay Development & Construction,
Inc. “Doug Bates and Joel Hill of Henry S. Miller Commercial are

Clay Development & Construction, Inc. The acreage was previously
owned by an area homebuilder and originally intended for Phase III
of the new home community Deerwood Glen. The property is located at
the 4900 Block of Highway 225 in Deer Park, Texas between the
Houston Ship Channel and Bayport terminal. “This location is ideal
for industrial development, “said Doug Bates, relating to the
shipping container and petrochemical businesses in the area. Clay
Development & Construction, Inc. plans to develop the site to
construct a build-to-suit office warehouse and office manufacturing
facilities. Currently there are several potential transactions in
