DALLAS,
TX - March 14, 2005 --
After a 19 year hiatus, Henry S. Miller Company announced its
re-launch of the Miller Mark magazine at its 2nd annual Investor
Conference. The Miller Mark was started in 1968 by Henry
S. Miller, Jr. as annual company publication that offered
valuable insights into the local real estate market as well as
highlights of the company's transactions and goings on.
The magazine was anxiously awaited each year by its many
recipients who received it on a periodic basis in the 60's,
70's and 80's. It was "retired until further
notice" in the mid 80's and now re-launched as the Henry
S. Miller Company turns 90 years old. "Our brokers
and clients kept asking us about what happened to the Miller
Mark." according to Sam Kartalis, President & COO, and
"our 2nd Annual Henry S. Miller Investor Conference was
the perfect opportunity to re-launch it." "We
had a record year in 2004 and decided in was time to bring the
Miller Mark back." said Vance C. Miller, Chairman &
CEO, "It was a very popular publication in our early
years and so many of our same clients are still with us today
that we knew they would appreciate it." Vaughn
Miller, President of the Henry S. Miller Retail Division, was
charged with putting it together, "I had pushed us to
get the Magazine re-launched for years because as a kid I used
to read it growing up and always loved it. I really
appreciated the history of it and I knew many of brokers and
clients did too." Vaughn and Mark O'Briant,
President of the Henry S. Miller Appraisal & Consulting
Division, put the magazine together in record time, "We
only had a month to put it together for our Investor
Conference and after 19 years we had to completely start
over" said O'Briant. "We gathered the best
information we could find from the best possible sources.
We decided to cover Dallas and Houston because they are the
two largest markets of Texas that we cover, and they reflect
most of the State."
Henry
S. Miller Commercial, founded in 1914, is Texas’ largest
independent commercial real estate firm and a member of The
Commercial Network, one of the largest affiliations of
commercial real estate firms in the nation.
