Potpourri
of Retail Leases OK'd for Suburban Centers
HOUSTON,
TX - July 8, 2002-- More
than 8,000 sf have been absorbed by small retail users in a
trio of deals in suburban submarkets. For Saigon Seafood
Wholesale, it was a renewal while Friendze Stores Inc. and
Great Clips have beefed up their store count.
Saigon
Seafood Wholesale re-upped a 4,717-sf lease at Beechcrest
Green Shopping Center at 10815 Beechnut in southwest Houston.

Commercial represented the property owner, Beechcrest 10815
Inc., of the 18-year-old, 31,687-sf shopping center.
Friendze
Stores Inc. leased 1,750 sf at Mason Creek, a shopping center
situated at 870 Mason Rd. in Katy, just west of Houston.
Ackerman represented the tenant while Sherry Rice of C.S.
Realty structured the deal for owner, Mason Creek Shopping
Center LP. Friendze is a jewelry store with a location in the
town of Humble, just north of Houston.
Great
Clips, one of the nation's largest chains of family hair-care
salons, signed for 1,715 sf at North Oaks, a 322,000-sf Center
at 4551 FM 1960 West in Houston's northwest submarket. David
Stukalin of the Houston office for Dallas-based Weitzman Group
brokered the deal for the tenant. Houston's Weingarten Realty
Advisors is the property owner.
Henry

commercial real estate firms in the nation.
