Professional Information:
Loyal Proffitt is the President of Henry S. Miller Realty Management, LLC with the direct responsibility of overseeing all property management functions for the company and its’ cleints. Loyal graduated from Abilene Christian University with a BA in Accounting.
Professional History:
Proffitt has been in the real estate business for almost 25 years specializing in property management. As the President for the Property Management Division, Loyal is responsible for overseeing management functions of a portfolio consisting of over 5,000 apartments and an additional four (4) million square feet of commercial properties. Ultimately Proffitt is responsible for ensuring that the goals and objectives of Henry S. Miller’s clients are met.
Proffitt started his career with Trammell Crow Residential (TCR) as a District Manager, and after more than seven years of service, he joined Equity Residential (EQR) where he ended his career there as the Regional Vice President for the Southwest Region. During his more than 10 years with EQR, Loyal was responsible for the daily operations of a 25,000 unit (80 property) portfolio. Prior to joining Henry S. Miller, Loyal was one of the founding partners of WaterStone Residential, a regional apartment management company that eventually merged in with the Henry S. Miller family of companies. Loyal has experience managing and consulting in numerous major markets throughout the country including Florida, South Carolina, Missouri and Oklahoma.
Proffitt has extensive experience managing properties for smaller, individual investors as well as non-profit groups and larger institutional clients.
Associations:
Proffitt has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas as well as the San Antonio Apartment Association.
